Theftbuster Key Care is a new insurance solution from Bidvest Insurance, that not only ensures you are covered from the costly impact following a hijacking, smash and grab or vehicle theft but also goes on to provide an all-encompassing key insurance facility for when your keys are lost, stolen or damaged.
How much does it cost?
There is a once off premium of R3 495 for 24 months cover.
Why you need it
It's true that some comprehensive insurance policies do cover these items, but, you will likely have an excess that applies, which is on average R 2 500, and claiming on your comprehensive could result in a premium increase or effect your no-claims bonus! Claiming on a Theftbuster Key Care product is easy and does not have an excess!
Theftbuster Key Care provides cover for damages relating to a theft or hijacking. It is often the case that in these incidents, that the keys and/or locks are damaged or stolen and require repair or replacement.
